In the interest of judicial efficiency, we elect to treat the letter as a motion for clarification of whether this appeal is subject to the expedited briefing schedule set forth in NRAP 31(a)(2), and, cause appearing, we grant the motion. This appeal is not subject to the expedited briefing schedule set forth in NRAP 31(a)(2). Appellant's transcript request form was filed on March 17, 2005. We therefore deny the motion for an extension of time to file a transcript request form as moot. We grant appellant's unopposed motion for an extension of time to file the opening brief. Appellant shall have 15 days from the date of this order to file and serve the opening brief and appendix. As respondent is not represented by counsel and has not sought nor been granted leave to file documents in proper person, upon the filing of the opening brief, briefing in this matter will be complete and this appeal will stand submitted for decision. | 05-14702 | |
